AN APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away?”, but why? Do you really know what makes an apple so special? Why is it that we never hear an orange or a banana a day keeps the doctor away?

Apples have properties that no other fruits have and its benefits have been proven overtime. You will be able to get the benefits of these properties individually with other fruits, but an apple combines everything and makes it simpler. It has been shown over and over that if it’s not simple, easy and fast, people won’t take care of their health.

1. Apple contains Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps greatly your immune system. A lot of people who lack Vitamin C in their diet have poor healing, bruise easily and have bleeding gums.

2. Prevent Heart Diseases. The reason it can prevent both coronary heart disease and cardiovascular disease is because apples are rich in flavonoid. Flavonoids are also known for their antioxidant effects.

3. Low in calories. A regular size apple has between 70-100 calories. Eating an apple when craving for candy or chocolate can make the desire disappear since apple in itself contains sugar, but gives you only ? of the calories.

4. Prevent Cancers. Notice the plural. We all know that cancer comes in several forms and in different places. Apples target multiple cancers such as colon cancer, prostate cancer and breast cancer in women.

5. Apples contain phenols. which have a double effect on cholesterol. It reduces bad cholesterol and increases good cholesterol. They prevent LDL cholesterol from turning into oxidized LDL, a very dangerous form of bad cholesterol which can be deadly.

6. Prevent tooth decay. Tooth decay is an infection that seriously damages the structure of your teeth, which is caused primarily because of bacteria. The juice of the apples has properties that can kill up to 80% of bacteria. So there you have it, an apple a day also keeps the dentist away!

7. Protects your brain from brain disease. This is something many people don’t know, and when you consider that your brain makes the person you are, it gives a whole new perspective. Apple has substances called phytonutrients, and these phytonutrients prevents neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinsonism.

8. Healthier Lungs. A research at the University of Nottingham Research shows that people who eat 5 apples or more per week has lower respiratory problems, including asthma.

9.They taste great! And not only that, they also come in many flavors and colors. Not in a mood for a green apple? Why not get a red one, or a macintosh! Their taste can vary greatly, but still give you all the apple benefits. Variety is an important element to maintaining your health.

On average, Americans consume around 20 pounds of apples a year, which comes to around 1 apple a week. Unfortunately, while an apple a week is better than nothing, it is nowhere close to being able to extract all the advantages apples have to offer. Eating apples is part of balanced and healthy diet than will increase your longevity, so why limit yourself to only 1 per week?

EATING FRUITS

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and when to eat.

W hat is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.
Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid.. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil....

New research by the University of Liege in Belgium suggests a good night’s sleep after solid study enhances recall

If anyone try to attempt an all-night study session, better just go to sleep. Research done by the University of Liege in Belgium suggests a good night’s sleep after solid study enhances recall.

Researchers asked volunteers to learn the layout of a virtual town adapted from a computer game. Brain scans of these volunteers during sleep after their study showed higher activity in the hippocampus - the brain learning center, higher than in a control group who had not studied.

The researchers then tested the learners' knowledge after the sleep session and found that there was a direct link between performance and the level of brain activity during sleep. The result provide critical evidence that hippocampal activity during sleep correlates with the improvement in memory performance.

So get enough sleep, they will improve your memory and give good memory recall to you. This could be a step to good result.

Pernah dengar orang melatah? Sekarang ini, orang melatah tak kira tua atau muda. Cuma yang tak sedapnya apabila melatah dengan menggunakan perkataan-perkataan yang tidak sedap didengar. Mungkin agak sukar untuk ubah tapi apa kata anda mencuba! (Jika anda melatah la) Jika anda mahu melatah, cuba TUKAR dari perkataan-perkataan yang mencarut atau kurang sopan KEPADA untaian zikir. Contoh: Subhanallah Walhamdulillah Allahuakbar. Cara terbaik nak ubah, mungkin buat permulaan, anda boleh biasakan lidah anda dengan mengucap berkali-kali perkataan zikrullah ini. Lama-lama pasti anda akan melatah pun dengsn zikrullah. Kan senang nak tambah pahala. Sambil melatah pun boleh dapat pahala! Cubalah! Gerenti syok!

Lelaki jangan 'Mengandung'

Lelaki 'mengandung'? Tidak. Mereka tidak mengandung. Tapi perut mereka seakan-akan mengandung! Ada sahabat saya berkata, "Isteri suka kalau lelaki boroi sebab bukti dia pandai masak". Tidak kurang juga yang kata lelaki berperut buncit ini seksi. Seksi ke? Biarlah apa pun nilaian orang, yang penting sebagai lelaki, anda juga harus menjaga penampilan diri. Baik dari hujung rambut hingga hujung kaki. Kali ini saya mahu berkongsi tips untuk atasi perut buncit. Dari aspek senaman, pertama sekali anda duduk di atas lantai dengan selesa dengan kaki melunjur ke hadapan. Jika ada alas dengan tikar pun bagus. Bengkokkan lutut anda. Letakkan kedua tangan anda di dada dan rendahkan sedikit badan anda ke belakang. Cuba baringkan badan anda tanpa mencecah ke lantai kemudian naik semula. Ulang sebanyak tiga kali kemudian rehat sebentar. Kemudian ulang mengikut kemampuan anda. Anda tidak boleh paksa tubuh anda melakukannya berulang kali dalam satu masa tambahan anda baru hendak mula, dikhuatiri otot anda akan cedera. Untuk aspek pemakanan, elakkan minum air selepas makan. Cuba rehat kira-kira 10 minit selepas makan baru anda minum. Penampilan yang menarik mampu membuat anda beras yakin diri berhadapan dengan orang ramai. Jaga kesihatan dan tampak menarik ini bukan tertumpu pada remaja semata-mata, tapi lelaki yang sudah berusia pun perlu amalkannya. Baru nampak muda sentiasa.

Petua awet muda

Tips ini mudah dan boleh dipraktikkan tanpa sebarang kos. Caranya, anda hanya perlu bangun di awal pagi, kira-kira jam 5 pagi. Kemudian, anda mandi tanpa menggunakan air panas.. Kalau anda rasa malas nak mandi di waktu itu, anda boleh ambil wudhuk untuk bersiap sedia mengerjakan solat Subuh. Dengan berwudhuk, anda telah membasuh muka anda dengan air yang sejuk itu.

Tahukah anda, apabila anda tidur, kulit wajah anda akan mengendur. Liang-liang pori diwajah anda akan terbuka pada ketika itu. Jadi, apabila anda bangun di awal pagi dan membasuh muka anda dengan air sejuk pada waktu itu, kulit wajah anda akan kembali tegang. Liang-liang pori yang terbuka pula akan mengecil dan ia mengembalikan keremajaan kulit anda! Jadi, tidak hairanlah kebanyakkan orang yang sering bangun di awal pagi memiliki wajah yang sihat tampak muda! (Dato Sarimah Ahmad juga mengakuinya dalam buku tulisan beliau)

p/s: Berwudhuk juga satu amalan yang baik. Amalkanlah agar kita sentiasa berada dalam keadaan suci selalu. =)
